What I am looking for is...

A simple necklace in either white gold or sterling silver(preferably silver due to cost).
Something not to flashy but again simple.
Something with simple but meaningful words.
I am shopping for a remembrance necklace. Any websites that you might recommend? No rush, just anticipating the coming November and would like to have something new to represent it. Thanks!

Also, I have not forgotten about a post for Day 3 of our trip but life has proven incredibly crazy once again this week. No worries, I will get to it.

Day 2-The Zoo and Dinner

On the second day we traveled to the zoo and spent more time on the Riverwalk. I didn't take that many pictures at the zoo. I preferred just to look but I did get a few. Enjoy!!

The Elephant was getting a mani/pedi. Ha!

First Night!

View from the hotel room.

Huge rock water fountain in the bar area.

View from outside our hotel(The Riverwalk).

On our way to dinner, the view from a bridge.

A pretty lamp from the bar area of our hotel.

The pool on the 13th floor. It had huge windows looking out over the city.

Pretty fountain in the hotel.

A wall of wood and a nice lamp. I asked if I could take it home. They thought I was kidding. I love this wall of wood!

A fountain on the way back from dinner.

Some tile work on the Riverwalk.

I have so many pictures so I am going to try and sum them up in ten pictures for each day and put the rest on some slideshows. Stay tuned! I will work on getting more up this weekend.

So far...

I have taken 281 pictures!! They are all really good because of my new fancy camera so it will take a while to sort through them. I can tell you that this place is unreal!! It is like a whole different world. We are staying in the King Executive Suite and I have never felt so spoiled. We are having a wonderful time!! Check back in because I plan to do some picture posts most likely on Saturday after we get back.

A short bit from yesterday's conversation.

Mother's Day

Today I spent my mother's day with my wonderful mother. We went to our favorite place to eat for lunch and spent the day shopping. I am pleased to report that I am down a size in my jeans!! I really enjoyed spending the day with my mom and will be happy to be living close to her again in a few months(more on that later). Thank you mom for being such as wonderful mother and friend!! I love you!!!

In truth, I don't really like Mother's Day. It is just another painful reminder that my son is not here anymore. I don't get those cutesy finger paintings or the handprints with poems around them. I fought the sadness all day. So instead of dwelling on it to much I will share a picture instead. One of my favorites...

Fellowship, Friends, Food, and Fun!!

This morning Hubby and I joined our friends, Jennifer and Michael and their little one Sarah, at church this morning. We started the morning with Sunday School taught by Michael himself. It was a great lesson on service and humility and he even used props for his lesson! He is a very good teacher. Next we went into the service where I felt very comfortable, which if you know me at all you know that I sometimes am afraid of feeling uncomfortable in other churches, but I really liked it. Here are some pictures of the church. It is a very large but beautiful building.

I couldn't help but laugh with this one! So I had to ask where we needed to park on our third visit? They assured me that we could still park there. ;)

After church we went and had some lunch at O'Charley's. The food was very good and I was able to find something I really liked. Sarah also gave me a great rendition of the "Itsy, Bisty Spider" in the parking lot. She is so much fun and adorable too! Here are the rest of the pictures!

We had a Special Instruction moment involving crayons and a box. Ha!
